HQB's Friday Five ~ What do I smell like?
What do I smell like?...Don't worry, it's good, I promise! I love perfume! I have several and I wear perfume almost everyday. Basically, if I'm leaving my house, most likely I will be rockin' some sort of perfume scent! I just like smelling good...for those around me; you're welcome! lol. I love fashion, makeup, and accessories...so liking perfume just kind of goes along with all of that. So, it's another Friday, and another "HQB's Friday Five", so today I am going to tell you the 5 favorite perfumes that I am currently using!
Here we go...
1) Fantasy by Brittany Spears. I am not some huge Brittany Spears fan or anything, but several years ago I discovered this scent and I just fell in love with it! I have bought it several times because it is one of my all-time favorites! I am not very good at describing scents, so I will spear you my rambling to even try...just trust me, it has a very sexy and seductive smell. I love it! I usually buy this one around the holidays because they offer good gift sets of it, the last one I purchased came with a lotion of the same scent. Bonus!
2) Angel by Victoria's Secret. Almost any VS perfume smells amazing. I would wear any of them! But I especially like Angel. A sweet and sexy smell, it's another all-time favorite. It's not over powering, but it makes me feel strong and sexy when I wear it. Maybe I like it so much because I'm an angel ;)
3) Wonder Struck by Taylor Swift. Ugh, these celebrities sure do like to stick their noses in everything...so many of them suddenly have their own scents out on the market lol. I really don't care what name is on the bottle, as long as it smells good. A cute bottle does help though, and many of them are super cute. Like this one, with all these little charms hanging off of it. I love this one for the fall and winter, somehow it just has a good cool-weather scent. 
4) Go Couture Yourself & Viva La Juicy, both by Juicy Couture. Yeah, I put these two together since they are the same brand. Both are really good. The Go Couture Yourself one is another example of a perfume bottle with a lot going on lol. I actually like the smell of the little bottle (Viva La Juicy) better, so I save it for special occasions since for some reason I have the world's smallest bottle of the stuff, lol.

I haven't tried these... Will have to check them out...! My favorite two are Prada Candy and Chanel Beige <3

DeleteWe have very similar taste in perfumes, so I'll have to check out a few of these scents I haven;t tried! Viva la Juicy and Princess are my faves; you should also try Aqua di Gio and DKNY Apple.
ReplyDeleteI actually have DKNY but did not use it in my top 5 lol...and I used to have a bottle of Aqua Di Gio and it was my favorite for the longest time! I still love it but I haven't shoveled out the cash to buy a new one since I ran out of it :(
DeleteI haven't had a perfume in years, I am definitely going to have to go shop for one or two now for those special date nights with the hubs. I miss smelling good.

DeleteI have never tried those ones. I love Ralph Lauren Blue, but I think they stopped selling it ages ago.

DeleteI haven't worn make-up in like 5 or 6 years, and perfume in about 5 since my hubby is allergic to a lot of scents. I miss having a bottle or 2 around though. I HAVE smelled a few of those though and they are amazing!!! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteyeah that stinks when someone is allergic or sensitive to perfumes...I try not to over do it when I wear it so as to hopefully not bother anyone who is sensitive to them.

ReplyDeleteI also have some Juice and VS perfumes I like. Unfortunately they all sit in the bathroom cupboard, out of sight and out of mind. I need to do better at wearing them each day!

ReplyDeleteOh man, those bottles are beautiful! I don't really wear perfume. I got out of the habit when I worked in a movie theater. It was strictly against the rules because they wanted the only smell to be fresh popcorn! Which is understandable. :)
