HQB's Friday Five ~ Review Products I Love!

Shortly after I started my blog, I also started doing product reviews! This is an addictive thing to get into! I have been able to try some really awesome products, so I thought I would share my
Top 5 Favorites with y'all.

#1 - ISA Professional Hair Straightener. I have naturally curly hair. I struggled with it for years, especially in my younger years...not really knowing how to work with it and get it to look at all decent. As I got older, I finally figured out how to make it look better...what a relief! Of course over the years, this means I have tried all sorts of hair products! I have tried many hair straighteners and flat irons. I guess I am sort of a self-proclaimed pro when it comes to those things. I was excited to try this ISA Professional Digital LCD Ceramic Flat Iron. After showering, I usually blow dry my hair, and then follow up with this straightener. It works quickly and doesn't seem too damaging on my hair. I totally love it! I can go from wet and curly, to dry and straight in just minutes! I am all about saving time and hassle during my morning routine! Check out my pics...shows my curly vs. straight, using this flat iron! :)

#2 - Way Too Tan Self-Tanning Lotion. I have tried several different brands and types of Sunless Tanners and Tanning Accelerators over the years. I still remember my first experience with Sunless Tanning Lotion...I was a Freshman in High School. I don't recall the exact brand but I do know that the next day, I begged my mom to let me stay home from school because it turned me so orange and blotchy that I simply could not bring myself to show up at school like that! On my "day off" of school, I took about five showers, scrubbing my skin to try and return to a somewhat normal hue again! Haha, I'm sure many of you have had a similar experience! Well, now that I am older, and of course much wiser (hey! stop smirking!), I am much better at knowing how to apply Sunless Tanners. Still though, I try many different kinds to find the best one because even with a lot of experience in applying them, some are better than others! Some are far less streaky or have a better "tan" color, so I'm always willing to try something new. That is why I was so excited to review this product! Way Too Tan - Dark Hybrid Tanning Silicone! This product can be used a few different ways too! This is something I have not encountered before! It can be used strictly as a self tanner, or it can be used while tanning outside in natural sunlight or in a tanning booth. This is why it is called a Silicone Hybrid. It has been designed to compliment any tanning process. So, for the second time I used this product, I decided to apply it right before using a UV tanning booth. This is where I was really pleasantly surprised by this product! It really helped enhance the color of my tan! I had a very deep tan, and felt as if I had just stepped off a Caribbean Cruise Ship! At this point, I was in love!

#3 - Hand painted wine glasses, from Valentina Paris. These wine glasses are amazing! They come in a set of two and are very large in size! If you have one glass of wine from this glass, you will be feeling fine! The details with the hand painted design is very unique and classy. I think these glasses would make a fabulous wedding or anniversary gift! They have that "wow" factor that would impress anyone! I know I surely was delighted with them and have used them several times already. They are nice enough to be for special occasions only, but also fine for everyday use. I am glad I have them and I will get a lot of enjoyment from them! If you come over to my house for wine, you can look forward to sipping it from these beauties!

#4 - Makeup Removing Cloth. When I ordered this, I thought, "ok, it's just a cloth to remove makeup, what's the big deal? This really isn't going to be anything special." Well, guess what...I was wrong! I wear makeup almost daily, and I take a shower every night using a special face wash. Even after my shower, and washing my face really well while in there, I am left with "raccoon eyes" from my eyeliner and mascara. Since I know some is going to be left, I will usually try to wash my face a second time, just to try and remove a little more of it, but I still never get it all. Well, as shown in the one picture below, I took a shower and washed my face...you see what is left. Then I used the makeup removing cloth with nothing more than water, and you can see how much I still removed from my face! The other picture shows me with full make up. I did not take a shower or wash my face with soap and water. All I used was this cloth with plain water...and ALL my makeup came off! I was able to achieve this without the use of any products or chemicals! I am so impressed with this product! I never realized something to simple could work so well to remove makeup like this! I am in love with this product!!

#5 - Hydrofeet. As some of you may already know, I have had severe back pain since an injury occurring 13 years ago. It's not a fun thing to live with, as you can imagine. I have tried all sorts of different things in hopes that I find some relief, or at least something that seems to not aggravate it! So, when I saw an opportunity to review some shoe insoles, I was in! They are not the typical insoles you find at the drug store though. Hydrofeet insoles are filled with a vegetable based, pharmaceutical grade, FDA approved glycerin. This liquid technology offers a "walking on water" feel. The company states these insoles can give relief to individuals suffering from poor circulation, Planter Fasciitis, hip pain, corns/calluses, Morton's Neuroma, sore/tired feet, Peripheral Neuropathy, heel pain, knee pain and...yes, back pain! Ok, so after knowing all of this, I was so ready to try these bad boys out! It really felt very different, in a good way! You can feel the water under your feet and it did seem to cushion my feet well and helps distribute weight well as you walk. I felt a lot of arch support too. I have been using them in my shoes now for nearly a couple of months and I do feel that they are good on my feet, and back. I haven't tried this yet, but I am also excited to put them in some heels or other dress shoes, to see if they can make being beautiful less painful!

So, there ya have it! A few of my favorite product that I have reviewed so far!

Happy Friday Everyone!
